2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS
Los Angeles Auto Show 2021 is taking place this week. The star is the 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. This car has a flat-6 motor that cranks at 9,000 rpm, produces nearly 500 hp and comes with a manual. However, Porsche’s 7-speed dual clutch box is faultless. The show also features a Clubsport racing version.
2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo
L.A. also featured the Porsche Taycan grades, GTS and Sport Turismo wagon styles. While the GTS receives the Taycan Turbo’s electric motors, inverters, and 626 lbft of torque, the GTS has 590 horsepower.
2023 Fisker Ocean prototype – 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show
EV startup Fisker used the show for the debut of a near-production-ready example of its Ocean crossover. Magna Steyr sourced the platform for Tesla’s Model Y rival. The vehicle will be manufactured at an Austrian facility starting November 2022.
Vinfast VF E35
Vinfast was at the L.A. Auto Show for its U.S. debut. A pair of electric crossovers were brought by Vinfast, the Vietnamese automaker. They are due to begin deliveries in late 2022.
2023 Nissan Ariya
Nissan displayed its Ariya electric crossover and revealed the initial U.S. specifications, including pricing. It won’t arrive in showrooms next fall. The Tesla Model-Y competitor will be available for purchase when it does.
2022 Lincoln Zephyr
Auto Guangzhou 2020 will also be featured this week in China. Lincoln displayed the Zephyr Chinese-exclusive Lincoln sedan, which will be the first Lincoln sedan ever built in China.
