Alpine Armoring has imported this Land Cruiser into the United States. The Land Cruiser will undergo armoring before it is shipped out overseas. The Land Cruiser featured in the review is the base model. This means it does not come with many of the amenities you would expect from an SUV.
DeMuro’s review starts in the cabin. This base model lacks an informationtainment screen. It has basic cloth seats and manual adjustments. Two new engines are one of the biggest updates to the 300-series Land Cruiser. There is one a 3.5-liter petrol twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 409 HP and 479 Lb-ft (465 Nm) while the other is an 3.2-liter twin turbo V6 which generates 304 HP and 516 Lb-ft (516 Nm). DeMuro used the flagship twin-turbo petrol motor in his test.
