Do The Cars In Forza Horizon 5 Sound Like They Do In Real Life?

Forza Horizon 5 officially launched today and already has rave reviews.

Like previous Forza games, the game takes place in an open world environment that is based in Mexico. There are hundreds of cars in this area. Forza Horizon 5’s designers spent considerable time and effort trying make the cars feel and behave like the real thing.

While it’s hard to determine how accurate the handling characteristics of each car are without driving every one of them, these videos from YouTuber NM2255 do give us the chance to see how the exhaust sounds of cars in the game compare to those in the real world.

There are two parts to the comparison. The first video features the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (Subaru Impreza WRX STi), Ferrari 488 Pista and Lexus LFA. It also includes the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and Porsche 991.2 911 GT3 RS. Koenigsegg One:1 and Lamborghini Urus. Meanwhile, the second video features the Lamborghini Aventador SV, Ken Block’s Ford Escort Cosworth, a Nissan GT-R, McLaren 600LT, BMW E39 M5, Audi R8 V10, Mercedes-AMG GT R, and an Audi RS6.

Forza Horizon 5 captures the essence of many exhaust sounds. It also features vehicles such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and Lamborghini Asventador SV. Koenigsegg:1 shows the cars routinely spewing out flames, just like in real life.
