German tuner ABT Sportsline revealed its latest creations, the RS6 -S and RSQ8 -S.
The two vehicles are slightly tamer than the RS6-R and RSQ8-R that ABT also offers its customers, but that’s not to say they are short on performance. Actually, quite the contrary.
ABT’s modifications start with the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that powers both models producing 591-hp in stock form. A new engine control unit can be fitted to increase the power output to 691 horsepower and 649 lb/ft (880 Nm) respectively. Those who want more power may request that it be tuned to 730 HP and 679 Lb-ft (679 Nm).

Other performance improvements have been made to this duo. These include quad, 4-inch (102 mm), exhaust pipes and an upgraded suspension system for the RSQ8.S. This lowers the ride height by 0.98 in (25 mm), Comfort mode, and 0.59 inch (15 mm, Dynamic). The RS6/S is equipped with adjustable springs. They reduce the ride height by 0.98 inch (25 mm) in the front, and 1.18 inches (30 mm in the rear). ABT added new anti-roll bars to the supercar’s front and back.
Both Audis are also equipped with new wheels. The RS6 Avant has 22-inch rims, while the RSQ8 S is fitted with huge 23-inch rims.
Both the RS6S-S and RSQ8S-S are also equipped with a carbon fibre aerodynamics package. The kit comes with a carbon fiber front spoiler, red lettering and side skirt add-ons. Minor interior upgrades include a shift knob, ABT switch, steering wheel badge and door sill trim.
ABT’s RS6-S and RSQ8-S packages are priced at €42,900 ($48,710) plus installation – excluding, of course, the donor car.
