As car makers increase their investment in SUVs and crossovers, wagons will be a thing of the past. However, this hasn’t stopped designer Rain PriskImagine a Chevrolet wagon today.

The Chevrolet Nomad was one of the most famous wagons produced by General Motors. It was the first car to be shown off in the public eye back in 1954. The Chevrolet Nomad went into production the next year, making it the most costly Chevy available.

Chevrolet was able to sell enough Nomads to produce a second-generation model, which it continued building through 1961. In 1968, the Nomad was used again to refer to the Chevrolet Chevelle’s wagon version. Rain Prisk’sModern-day Chevrolet wagons share their names with classics like these, but they look very different.

It has only two doors. This is a striking feature that you will notice about the creation. A two-door station wagon like this wouldn’t make any sense for the modern-day consumer but the design does make for a very sleek look.

We can also see the modern Chevy Nomad’s angular B-pillars just like the original. The car has huge side windows which make it appear longer. The flat roofline is also designed to maximise interior space.

A set of high-profile black wheels, with LED taillights and dual-exiting exhaust pipes, completes the stunning look.
