World’s First Ford Bronco With An Air Suspension Can Do Both High And Low

This year’s SEMA Show attracted all kinds of wild projects and among those that somehow slid under our radar was this, a rather unusual Ford Bronco.

This particular example was brought to life by Vossen Wheels and AccuAir and is special as it is the world’s first Bronco equipped with an air suspension.

When the suspension is in its lowest setting, the Bronco’s undertray sits just a few inches off the ground and when raised, the air suspension acts as a 3-inch lift kit. Vossen Wheels was also able to preserve the 35 inch off-road tires that are available from the factory for the Bronco. This means it will be as adept on off-road trails than a Bronco straight off the showroom floor.

Air suspension’s ability to work alongside Bilstein shocks is a unique feature. The Bronco also has all its G.O.A.T. off-road modes. This Bronco stands out even further thanks to a set of Vossen’s 20×9.5-inch multi-spoke Hybrid Forged HF6-3 wheels with an Anthracite finish.

It’s amazing how cool this Bronco is. However, we are curious to know how many people will opt to install an air suspension system. Most people looking to mod the Ford Off-roader are likely to opt for traditional lift kits, modified springs and upgraded shocks.
